We welcome Gideon Gywa to the lab! Previously a postdoc at CWRU, he is an evolutionary ecologist and macrophysiologist, interested in how the functional and physiological traits of organisms govern their interactions with each other and ultimately mold their distributions and larger biodiversity patterns. He is interested in both the basic science and applying the knowledge for conservation efforts. He will be brining his expertise to study the continental and global distribution of key nectarivore families (the hummingbirds Trochilidae, the hawk moths Sphingidae, and eventually the sunbirds Nectariniidae and other nectarivorous birds). You can find more about him under the Team Members page.
Welcome Gideon!
